I don't understand what's append, but in mode normal (with panel) my motor move. I continue to test it.
It' seem what your precious advice debug me. A great thanks at you !
I'll inform you of my progress.

You assign the stepper to M3 and M4 but wired it to M1 and M2 ?

Yes Milz the motor is Wired it to M3 and M4 :wink:

When I had reboot, a second time, my system, David reappear with default's parameter and when I reconfigure him and play start, the motor moved :D

I can make my first scan piloted by David :D

But, what is strange, that the motor run short-winded when he climb and normally when he come down :|

I have learn lot of thing today thanks to you two. :D

Sorry, I had forget to closed the COM3 in David's setting. One port com open in one application: if not, it's the crash ! isn't it :mrgreen:

Now I have the same problem at the beginning : The David's port com is out :roll:
I reboot my system and reopen David.

In start of David, the debugs window tell that :

David have a problem with the communicator 0 and what I do, he crash ! :cry:

What can I do ?

You are still running 2.4
there was a bugfix concerning the COM port with 2.5
maybe that´s the issue?

Update your USB version : see WIKI

You give me a real hope and I download immediately David 2.5.4.
but unfortunately I have the same error message about the communicator 0 :(
Please, maybe, somebody know who is the communicator 0 ? :?
I'm completely stopped :(

I am so happy ! :D

I have discover the problem. In fact, my USB David's key wasn't connected correctly on my pc.
Window hadn't reinstalled the Key after the last crash.
I have unplugged and plugged the key, and miracle : David run correctly. 8)

And for the speed problem with my motor, the guilty Was the counter in the sketch.
He slow down the motor and I put the value at 5 and he run normally.

Hello Treleau,

nice to read that your problems with David are solved.
Your scans are really great: compliments. :shock: and what cool renderings.

What do you think to write a tutorial for the Wiki pages? Maybe you can describe your way to scan without panels and focusing the tutorial over Blender + LuxRender.
Could be very usefull for all of us understand how you prepare the scene and how you get these wonderful images.
