-is this setup possible for david structured light scanner, my intention in doing this setup is to improve the quality of the details of my scans.

- And sometimes my scans have vertical and horizontal lines how can i remove that lines?

You mean to place the cam closer to the target?
Yes, that is possible. To get best results, the cam's field of view should match to the projector's field of projection.

About stripes in your result:
This may be due to different issues. Here's a topic were we discussed several things:
