The first lens is a magnifing glass(5 x magnification). The tube is from an old Eumig 8mm film camera. The other lenses are close up lenses of the Miranda EE.

Egon, the mounted tube with the 3 lenses seems to be rather long. But the beam coming out of the original projector lens is tilted upwards. Are you quite certain that the projected image is not cut at the upper rim?
The image is not cropped up. Only a slight vignetting occurs in the upper corners. This vignetting has but no effect on the scan result. The tube could be even 4 mm longer. Until then, the image is cropped.
How do I connect it to the David software on my laptop. I connected a USB cable between the camera and laptop but was lost at that point. I also tried to lock up the mirror for direct feed, but again no luck.

Hi Egon Sometimes the simplest solution seems to notice, comes closer to take the panel. Tibor

Show you my new turntable and support for extended objects. The software for the turntable is "Leo 3". This software works with the Arduino Uno excellent.
The driver for the stepper motor is a Pololu A4983. Unfortunately, the violin is not Stradivari and Amati no. The violin was made by "Franz Fuchs" in Linz ca 1890. The value of the violin is 3000-4000 Euro.
