Hi Tibor

The first lens is a magnifing glass(5 x magnification).
The tube is from an old Eumig 8mm film camera.
The other lenses are close up lenses of the Miranda EE.

Egon, the mounted tube with the 3 lenses seems to be rather long. But the beam coming out of the original projector lens is tilted upwards. Are you quite certain that the projected image is not cut at the upper rim?

Hi Walter

The image is not cropped up. Only a slight vignetting occurs in the upper corners.
This vignetting has but no effect on the scan result.
The tube could be even 4 mm longer. Until then, the image is cropped.

Egon

Hi all,

I have a canon 10D digital camera.

How do I connect it to the David software on my laptop.
I connected a USB cable between the camera and laptop but was lost at that point.
I also tried to lock up the mirror for direct feed, but again no luck.

Any help?
Thanks
Ken

Hi Tibor

If you change the distance projector to the Panel, then is in focus ???

I have no problems with the Acer K11.
It work with all CloseUp lenses.

Hi Egon
Sometimes the simplest solution seems to notice, comes closer to take the panel.

Hi

Show you my new turntable and support for extended objects.
The software for the turntable is "Leo 3". This software works with the Arduino Uno excellent.

Hi Egon,
Good to read that your turntable works with the Leo 3 Arduino code.
By the way, what motor driver board do you use?

I am curious to see a scan of the violin. It looks like a Stradivarius.

Hello Walter

The driver for the stepper motor is a Pololu A4983.
Unfortunately, the violin is not Stradivari and Amati no.
The violin was made by "Franz Fuchs" in Linz ca 1890.
The value of the violin is 3000-4000 Euro.
