Does anyone know which Sensor is used in the Camera (Logitech QuickCam Pro9000). I need to know the Light sensitivity of the CMOS, where the Max. and Min. are. So that I can use the best fit Laser for the Sensor.

If you need best performance you should use a green laser.

The reason is that colour cameras have an IR cut-off filter built-in which often absorbs a lot of the „valuable“ red light:
