Trigger and I/O necessary?

Trigger and I/O necessary?

Postby AlexNoir » Wed Mar 07, 2012 11:37 pm

The David CCD Cams are offered with a TriggerOption but is that really necessary for scanning (nornaly there is no moving object before - or are there other benefits?) ? And is there also a I/O in the Cams included? And the same question: Is that necessary?

Normally a triggerable camera isn't necessary. About 3 years ago I had used this feature to scan a moving object:

But who knows, if it would be possible to precisely synchronize the projector's image projection with the capture mode of the camera, the scan speed could be furthermore increased.
