The davidSDK will be soon integrated into the Point Cloud Library (see #1216)
It allows to easily grab clouds/meshes and process them via PCL (through the davidSDK) on a Linux/MacOSX/Windows machine with a custom davidSDK version.
There is also a tutorial available on the official PCL website: (this is a temporary link)
