Offering help to those beginning to build scanners

Offering help to those beginning to build scanners

Postby reesemed » Thu Aug 30, 2012 1:24 am

I built a successful foot scanner and a software program that converts images to .raw files. If anyone is looking to build a foot scanner or scanner of any type, message me if you are in need of help. The scanner I built is currently being utilized by podiatrists and orthotic labs. I just want to offer my help to others who looking to build a scanner for use in manufacturing products.

Hello,

I'm working at Delcam germany as software developer and we have some of the older i-Qubes here, so i can work with them if in need.

At home I have an imes-icore dental scanner and the spare parts of a second one for testing/experimenting with.

But mostly I'm using David with a line laser and ordered recently a cheap DLP-beamer for testing with SL-scanning and UV-3D-printing.

So maybe I can help too with suggestions or practical tips ...

Hi Victor
I'm ready for my flight and lasts production is solved. The legs are finished digitizing in 1 second. David does not know this.
