Hi,

MeshMixer is definitely worth a try to postprocess your scans.
You can refine your scandata, add pedestals or a flat bottom, do booleans and "crazy or boring stuff" such as me
at:
http://meshmixer.com/forum/index.php?to ... 00#msg1400

It is much more than a toy to join a human head on a bunny. Think it's ideal (and in development) for scanning-men's purposes - and free!
