DAVID meets Wikipedia

Postby Simon » Thu Oct 16, 2008 9:32 am

If you browse through Wikipedia you will find many articles about software like:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3d_studio_max
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solidworks
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows
...

I think DAVID is also deserving of its own article at Wikipedia. So Sven and I took the initiative to start it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAVID-LASERSCANNER
I would like to encourage everybody to breathe life into it, e.g. with some interesting images and facts. But please remember: It is very important that this article is not considered as advertisement. "Wikipedia aims to be a neutral compilation of verifiable, established facts." See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... a_in_brief

Thanks in advance for your help!
Simon :)

Nice idea !
I will try to add a few things soon.
When the article is ok, it will also be a good idea to translate it in other languages. I can do the French translation.
