... ich habe DavidLaserscanner auch seit der Zeit als Uni-Projekt beobachtet/begleitet und auch mit Sven bei ein paar Messetreffen über Möglichkeiten und Entwicklungswünsche gefachsimpelt ... ja, ist schon schade um die "kommerzielle" Wende und den Ausstieg aus der Community

Hab' das Gleiche (bzw. schlimmer) aber auch schon mit der "Abspaltung" von Makerbot Industries aus der RepRap-Community mitgemacht und mit ein paar anderen Entwicklungen, wo ich nicht ganz so mit ivolviert war

Das war auch mit ein Grund, warum ich bei meinen eigenen Entwicklungen seit etwa 10-15 Jahren auch fast nur noch privat aktiv bin ... und nur gelegentlich über "direkte berufliche Verwicklung" Teile herausklinke und beruflich ausarbeite - die letzten 6 Jahre vor Allem Laserentwicklung/Applikation, seit 2 Jahren Pastedispensen ...

Exactly! Still disappointing. Though having expectations otherwise was almost definitely naive.
