HELP! I lost the ability to save my scans

I have had David3 for a few years now and it says cannot obtain license file and I cant save my scans.
It has never done this before.
I can open previous scans and re-save them

Any thoughts on this??

I have usb version and the .lic file is in the folder with david3.
