My Scans

Postby mexscan » Wed Apr 23, 2014 12:59 pm

Two ammonites with the Canon 600D gescannt i have.
The quality is very good. I got the small Ammonite with cnc milling Machine in wood milled.
With a smaller cutter, the resolution would have been slightly better.

Sorry, my english is very bad.
I love the David scanner.

Egon

Hi Egon,

That's a very interesting work! Can you tell us why you did the milling?
Hobby, order for an employer, an own taken new challenge or just for fun?

Walter

PS. Don't say your English is bad. I think 80% of us aren't English native speakers. And, nobody is perfect, what the heck!

Hi Walter,

David scanner and a milling machine or 3d printer is very interesting.
The millingmachine was built by myself.
For me, it's a wonderful hobby.
In the future, I would like to faces scannen and milling.
