Hi! A few days ago, a virus was installed on my computer. After removing the virus, David 3.10.4.4657 not working. Only the 64-bit version, the 32-bit if it works.
When I run the program, David_64, a message appears: David 3.10.4.4657 has stopped working:, And the screen is closed. Attached picture message.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the NetFrame 4.5 and still not working.
Any solution?

Hi Luisg,
Your screen shot shows an error message for "qdrvyaqmxorn.exe", not for DAVID.
Anyway, I suggest you re-install DAVID, just download from here: http://www.david-3d.com/support/downloads
You can simply install over the existing DAVID.
To reset DAVID to "factory settings", delete all contents of the subfolder "Settings".

Hi Sven, Thank you for you reply.

I put that screenshot because the notice was in English, my program in Spanish.

I uninstalled, I reinstalled, removed the contents of the folder settings and follows the same error.

Only happens in 64 bits.

Any other ideas?

That's strange.
32-bit works and 64-bit not: That indicates the problem might be with .NET Framework, because DAVID 32-bit requires .NET 3.0, and DAVID 64-bit requires .NET 4.5.
But you have already reinstalled .NET...
Sorry I have no other idea than re-installing Windows...

Thanks Sven,

The virus has since deleted some file that runs the 64-bit programs.

If anyone knows a solution reinstalling a program I will be eternally grateful.

Hi,

I installed David 3 in another notebook. Run the 64-bit application without problems. When run, I have seen differences between the two laptops. Attached screenshot of the startup screen.

Is DAVID the only application that crashes on startup, or are there other applications that behave the same?

Do the applications also crash when using another (new) user profile?

Googling for KERNELBASE.dll errors revealed this question in the Microsoft Forums, which suggests to try creating a new user profile. Just a guess, but probably worth a try.
