[Solved] Scans don't stay selected when toggled (in)visible

Postby SeaBorneScanner » Fri Oct 18, 2013 3:24 pm

Hey I upgraded to the last version today, Windows 7 64-bit version.
Everything seems to work properly, except when I select parts of scans using the cleaning tool and I try to toggle one scan invisible, so my cleaning will apply just to its neighbor, the selection (red highlights) disappears.
Am I doing something wrong? I could swear it worked previously.

Same here and I can confirm that it worked with previous versions.
Think this is a pretty important thing for it was the only way to limit a selection on certain scans....

Yes, it is quite critical.
Can anyone else confirm, or Sven/developer address this?

Thanks guys!

Thanks! Yes I can confirm.
This problem is a side-effect of other changes we made for version 3.9.0.
It may have advantages and disadvantages to cancel selection when visibility changes. However I think the old way was better. We are looking into it!
For now: If you really need this, please use DAVID 3.8.1 for cleaning:

We have changed this for the next update. Then you can toggle visibility without losing the selection.
