Manual Control over the TT1 turntable.

Postby MavCoGrips » Fri Dec 11, 2015 9:12 pm

It would be nice to have more control of the TT1.

1) Reset the TT to 0 deg. in it's current position.

2) Move the TT to a desired deg. or scan number (manually move the TT to ie: 32.. 47.... 68..90) and back to 0 deg.

3) Enable the TT to move in a positive or negative rotation.

4) Enable free movement of the TT 0-360 deg.

I use several fixtures to locate the object(s) I am scanning.
There are times where one or more of the scans need to be redone.
I would like to have the software be able to go back to a given location to re-scan at that position.

Thanks David!!

Hallo David Team,
unfortunately it is a fact for me, that the TT1 is very impractical in some ways, because there are no manual operations.
Some Scans don't need to have uniformly rotation with the object.
So I have to turn the object by hand (on a nearly 1000EUR Truntable 8) ).
Also it may be necessary to make a full turn to have a look that the position is in range and the object is well aligned for turning

I think the TT1 is a high qualitiy product and it worthy of having more functions like until now.
And i think doing this will be slightly easier to program like the other complex math funktions.
So please, please give yourself a jolt to deal with the simple things

And YES I totally agree to David suggestions.
Anyone else? :)
