Setting exposure of Canon eos series cameras

Postby NARMELLA » Fri Sep 12, 2014 8:50 am

Hi Sven,

As we know each Canon eos camera has 3 main options to set value of exposure in manual mode."We can get best scanning results by using camera in manual mode"

1- Aperture : Smaller values give us lighter images
2- Shutter speed : Mainly controls depth of field
3- Iso : In scanning process depends to the ambient light it controls sharpness of image " smaller values are good "

It means by having constant values of ISO "100/200 is best" and Shutter speed " 1/15,1/30" (user can set them manually );
we can have enough control on this kind of cameras only by having a slider in cam section in david software to change values of aperture.
