Question about free version

Postby spamsac » Thu Dec 16, 2010 5:09 pm

I'm aware that the free version allows you to save scans at a reduced resolution of 320 X 240. At the risk of asking a stupid question, what exactly does this mean? If you scan at say 1080p, what does it then mean for the object to be saved at this reduced resolution? Does it simply mean it acts as if you effectively scanned it at this lower resolution?

Could someone please point me towards an example of such a saved file?

Regards,
Simon

Simon,
Some time ago Mattia (hal) has made a comparison 1024 x 768 / 320 x 240, Sep.28, 2008:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=706&p=3986&hilit=320x240#p3986

And also Greg (Bongobat) scanned a dog with low resolution on the same thread.
