Tibor, you must not start the *.exe by clicking on its name!

Copy the *.obj file in the folder of the make hollow.exe.
Click on the *.obj file, hold the left mouse button pressed and shift it right on the *.exe.
Then release the left mouse button. Now the *.exe should start.

Hope it works.

Yes. The OBJ need not be in the same folder. But you must drag the obj onto the exe.
Or start it with the OBJ filename as parameter.

Wow amazing job Sven.
Unfortunately I don't have a liquid resin pritner... but I have the MakerBot Replicator 2 machine.
This machine have a free software called MakerWare. It works pretty good and can generate x3g files for the path, to send to the controller.
The problems with the software are 2: the machine can create rafts and supports but it create too mamny supports and is hard to remove them, especially in the undercuts of the print. the second problem isthat the software create supports all over the objext, also if not really necessary. So this waste some PLA material.

So I as to you, Sven (and to the David community with passion for the 3D printers): Do you know a way to generate more "intelligent" supports (just where is necessary and easy to be removed) and create a 3D file from this? I have in mind something like a detecting software that create supports only in the required areas, as examples some rods.
By this way we can create a file ready to be printed also with ABS, PLA and Resin machines.

This spoftware colud be really a good tools for everyone.
I know that my suggestion-question is very "open", but maybe alos other David users are interested about.

I will post some pics about my Replicator 2 machine and show the results. Maybe this can help to increase the discussion around the "3D printing" of this community.

Regards,
Mattia

Hi Mattia,

you can try with Slic3r: http://slic3r.org/releases/0.9.8

Here a related thread: http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?1,160 ... msg-161198

By the way - have you received/molded the "Han Solo"?

Hi Mattia :D :D :D
attended a jewelry show in 3D printing. Have been presented to the support of editing steps. CAD drafting software by the propping. He emphasized that there is no perfect software solution is correct, human creativity necessary for the correct answer. Are relevant to the subject and the support relationship. The thin cross-section coupling in the material so as to be easily removable.
