Hi stecma, good work here.
What is the process of turning a mesh into nurbs and cnc ready! Which software do you use?

Best regards

Dear friends, thank you for your flattering comments. Despite having a seemingly simple form my target was to reproduce the object in the most faithful to the original, so before I scanned the cup and the plate, and with the command of the cleaning I cut as you see in the screenshot. In this way I got the sections to be extruded at 360 °. The geometries of the neck were obtained by tracing with NURBS surfaces derived from the scan. The program I used is Rhino 5.0. The gold background of the logo is applied and hand finished by a professional sculptor

Hey stecma,

only one question - is this your "privat" machine or did you do this somewhere else? :)

Hi Alexnoir, no, the machine is a client of mine. It's identical to this and built in the town where I live. Best regards
