I just tried this program and it says out of date, so it does not work for me :( . How are you guys getting it to work?

thanks Sven. The program is working for me! :D But, I have a problem when I try to save the result, it saves it as 2 files and neither of them are the merged mesh. What gives?

The program only ALIGNS the scan and saves them separately in their new positions and orientations.
It does not FUSE the scans into one. For that, you will need DAVID: Import the aligned scans, clean if necessary, then click "Fuse".

I'm still experimenting with it to try to get perfect alignments. Can you guys please extend the expiration another 1-2 months? :o

Hi Simon,

I did not try this software yet. but it seems to be a good one.
Why not just add these codes to David itself? is it suppose to be a separate software?

Hi argo, you're right. This is an item on our to-do list. Unfortunately, for some cases the automatic alignment of multiple scans does not work properly. We're just thinking about a method how to increase the robustness.

Any chance of extending the expiration date of the trial?

I actually had some positive results when using this a while back. Any chance of changing the expiration date?
