The Good Bad and Ugly aspects of David 5

-Better scanning and calibration (AWESOME Makes it all worth it)
-Better connection with Framegrabber (Blackmagic I Pro)

-No Cannon Easy Play
-No Texture Intensity Adjustments

-Obvious Move By David 3D to Close the 'open nature' of their Software

I purchased david 5 did the update to 5.05
My first scan was absolutely beautiful using the one camera (canon eos T3i) However it was very distorted . its like it kept perspective only on the view the camera took.
i tried and tried. after calibrating nearly 20 times.
I then went back to using the webcam c615 as the camera and it didnt change anyhing . it was still distorted.

I went back to david 4 and it works perfectly with no issues using the c615 webcam.

Also . i purchased the david 5 software so i could use two cameras . i tried to use two c615 webcams and it also distorted the object badly.
I was wondering if it supports 2 dlsr cameras if i get two 4k capture cards.
i don't see much on dual camera setup.
Camera's: Canon eos t3i, 2x c615 webcams
150 mm calibration panel commonly used
acer k135 Projector/ infocus trial projector
Process computer: i7- 8 core processor, 128g ram, nvidia 6000

I think micr0 mentioned this in another post:

"For those that don't follow: If you are using only one camera with David 5 make sure "OptimizeMultiCameraCalibration" is off"

Maybe that would help solve the distortion problem. I really don't know as I haven't had a chance to really use v5 yet.
