Custom RGB lights

Postby Mothmothma » Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:46 am

Hi, I need more light for my texture scans, and I was thinking of building a ring flash around the camera.

When the David software takes the RGB colors from the projector what is the speed in which that happens? Can I use camera flashes with colored filters? Will the flash illuminate the scene for long enough if I time the flashes correctly? What is the bit-depth of the images that the David software makes from the individual RGB images?

I was planning on using SLS-2 or SLS-3 with some slight modifications.

Thank you for your time.
