Workflow and Process for 'Selfie' Scanning?

Postby ShaunD » Tue Mar 31, 2015 8:25 am

I've been asked if I can do 'head and shoulders' and full body scans with my David SLS setup.

Before I have a go, I'd appreciate some opinions on how others do the same.

All of the attempts at these on the forums seem to have custom rigs where you put the user on a turntable - is this the way that most people do this?
If you don't do it this way, how would you go about it?- in particular what steps would you take?- focus on them, move them out of the way, calibrate (any clues on panel size appreciated), move them back in and then spin either the camera/projector rig or the subject around?
