Newbie question -- how do you measure?

Postby TomGreaves » Sun Feb 22, 2009 7:52 pm

From a cold start, we got up and running in about 60 minutes. Thanks. Now, how can we extract dimensional information from our scans? Is there a "measuring tape" function I'm missing? Do we need to pull the obj into Rhino to get this info? Thanks.

On the Shapefusion page, you can right-click on a scan's name in the list, and choose "Properties". However, this gives you only very few information, e.g. the overall dimensions x*y*z. Maybe this is enough in some cases. Unfortunately DAVID does not have a better measuring tool at this time.
