Calibration Error-Wrong Number of Black point

Postby El Artista » Sat Mar 07, 2009 10:03 am

I am trying to do the camera calibrration without background planes and an error of Wrong number of black point labels comes out. I am using a loghitech Quick Cam Pro 900, any ideas as to why this might be?
thanks Juan :?:

Hi, welcome

for calibration you´ll always need a target (corner with fixed patterns on it).

Please post a picture of how the cam sees your scene. This helps to give you advice.

Hi, Thanks for your interest...

Please find a file with the picture of how the cam sees the scene.

Thanks in advance and see you later.

Hi to Mexico,

The calibration step is the same for scanning without background, as for scanning with background.
So you need an enlighted corner with patterns on it to calibrate the cam no matter how you want to scan.
AFTER calibration AND reference scan, you can remove the corner for repetition scans...

Did you notice the Spain manual at our WIKI http://www.david-laserscanner.com/wiki/user_manual_spanish/getting_started?

Hope that helps
