Cannot calibrate large panel with vertical camera

Postby vchmiele » Mon Aug 15, 2016 10:23 am

I am trying to calibrate a large panel (for full body scanning). Whenever I orientate the camera vertical I get the error "could not find a valid mapping between measured points and model parameters".

When I orientated the camera horizontally, the calibration works. Unfortunately with this orientation I cannot scan full body subjects.

This setup used to work flawlessly in David 3. I am VERY frustrated, I have been troubleshooting all weekend...

Do you have DAVID 5.0.3 installed? There were some calibration problems in previous versions, so in 5.0.3 they should be fixed.
