Calibration error values are too high

Postby rene1981 » Wed Jan 22, 2014 3:15 pm

Hello,

unfortunatly, I still got problems with my DAvid SLS scanner: (see the attachment).

Wenn I try to scan, now it says:
Camera calibration failed.
The resulting calibration error values are too high. The calibration corner may not be build precisely.

How can I disolve this problem?

Thanks a lot!

Gr. René

What hardware do you use? Original SLS-1 or other? Which other? Is your calibration panel precise?
Please post a live camera image that DAVID tries to calibrate with.
You can use F12 in DAVID to create a screen shot (see Settings menu).

I've got an other message.
See the attachement.

I use the Original David Laserscanner (David 3).

What do I do wrong at the moment? And, how can I solve that problem?

The camera should only „see“ one calibration pattern (in full screen), look here:
http://wiki.david-3d.com/david3_user_ma ... alibration

Of course an empty corner during calibration.

Minimum to see for the camera are the 6 rings.
