distortion of the calibration board scan

Postby Lunat1c » Sat Sep 21, 2013 7:31 am

I see a distortion at the intersection of the panel everytime I scan it. Is it a problem to consider or a trivial issue? Does it effect my scan quality or accuracy?

This is caused by reflection between the panels. It does not affect your scan quality.
Of course when your scanned object is similar, i.e. is somewhat glossy and has self-reflections from one part to another, the same effect may occur...
