failed failed failed

Postby mootsoo » Mon May 09, 2011 4:20 pm

I just started to "scan" from today. Actually an hour before. But it says calibration failed!!
There are few topics about calibration fail, but I didn't found any useful word from there.
I just put DAVID calibration panel and my camera, run DAVID- Laserscanner software, clicked on calibration button, and says Calibration Failed! again and again n again.

Hi mootsoo,

I have found that when I am getting a failed calibration, it is because my brightness of the camera has not been set hight enough.
I usually get a yellowish colour cast over in the calibration window as I am use fluorescent lights and I have my saturation set higher to capture the colour information for the texture map. When I redo the brightness and contrast for the calibration, I then get a successful aquisition of the cabliration.

I found my mistake.
Camera was too far from panel and dots aren't visible enough for camera.

I will ask when I had some problem. Hope you guys will help me, cheers :D
