idea for calibration panels

Postby moog » Fri Sep 03, 2010 10:03 am

I've been reading some of the ideas for corner panel, and i came up with an idea.....
Ideally you want to be able to change your calibration sheets quickly and easily right?.....
What about making the boards out of PVC, of a adequate thickness as to not warp or bend (or just re-enforce the back)
then if you rub the surface quickly with a soft fluffy cloth, it will build up "static Electricity", then the paper will cling to the panels..

Has anyone tried this before???? if so do the edges of the paper stay stuck down?

Other possible materials for this idea would be.... polyurethane, Acetate, polystyrene, polypropylene, all these have good charging proporties, see here...
